Today, with the support of thousands of volunteers like you, the American Cancer Society is helping save more than 400 lives a day. And we won’t stop until we finish the fight against cancer! Please join us!
The 24 hour event in Big Bear Lake starts at 9:00 am on Saturday and ends on Sunday at 9:00 am. Teams of people walk or run in circles for 24 hours to raise awareness and funds for the American Cancer Society’s campaign to create a world with less cancer and more birthdays. Teams are made up of eight to 15 people. At least one member of each team is walking or running the track at all times.
The Relay for Life is open to the public. All cancer survivors and caregivers are encouraged to take part in the opening ceremonies and survivors lap at 9 a.m. There will be vendor booths and live music during the day on Saturday. A Luminaria dedication will be held at 9pm on Saturday night.
