The 5th Annual KODIAC Ultra 100 in BIG BEAR LAKE

The 5th Annual Kodiak Ultra 100 Marathon is presented by Carbo Pro. This amazing, challenging event takes place in the San Bernardino Mountains of Southern California at an elevation of 7,000 feet! The cool clean air and wonderful alpine village of Big Bear Lake stands ready to host you and your whole crew for this awesome event!

This marathon course is highly anticipated with a loop around Big Bear Lake. It is complete with the most epic views and climate you could ask for in an Ultra. This year in 2017 the Kodia 100 will be returning to the original counter-clockwise direction to travel completely around the lake!

With nearly 17,000 feet of vertical climbing and sustained running over 7,000′ in elevation, this course will challenge the best ultra runners on the planet! The Kodiak 100 is a true mountain one hundred. Marathon runners will experience rocky, technical, steep climbs up to 10,000 feet summits. There are cold nights, gorgeous views and thin air.

There will be volunteers and staff that will see to it that everyone participating has every opportunity to succeed.
