Sunflowers at Sunset at Bear Valley Farms

Bear Valley Farms has announced that it will be holding a special, limited-entry Sunflowers at Sunset event on Sunday, September 2nd from 6 pm to 8 pm at Bear Valley Farms.

The event will feature the Farm’s huge sunflower spiral- with stalks upwards of 6 feet in height- as well as acoustic music, wine and cheese, art, and a chance to catch the Farm at sunset. Tickets are available at $27 per person, which includes entry and entertainment, two drink tickets, and light hors-d’oeuvres. The sunflower spiral is part of the 30-acre Bear Valley Farms, 1601 E. Big Bear Blvd., Big Bear City.

“We started out this year with a sunflower spiral and have been absolutely delighted with how it’s taken shape,” said Bear Valley Farms organizers. The spiral is several hundred feet of the sunflower-lined pathway leading to a large clearing, which creates an amazing gathering space, they explained. “We would like to grow toward creating a gigantic sunflower maze that can be a destination for artists, photographers, and nature lovers alike,” they said. “For now, we are thrilled with the results of our first efforts and can’t wait to share it with our guests. We’ll even have sunflower bundles available for purchase as a souvenir of the experience,” they added. Guests are encouraged to wear closed-toe shoes and bring a camera for multiple photo opportunities.
