Join the Big Bear community as we celebrate the annual International Migratory Bird Day with our feathered friends on May 13, 2017! Among the activities will be a silent auction of bird arts and crafts, a bird talk and walk, arts and crafts, and birdhouse building with friends and family. This highly anticipated event runs from 10am-2pm.
Migratory Bird Day will also hold the annual silent Auction. Bird themed art and photos donated by local artists for this event will be auctioned off and the funds will go to the Southern California Mountains Foundation. Bids will be accepted until Memorial Day.
Join us as we celebrate International Migratory Bird Day (IMBD). This annual celebration is a signature program of Environment for the Americas that features the migration of nearly 350 species of birds from their nesting habitats in North America to countries as far as Canada, Mexico, Central and South America. IMBD in the U.S. and Canada is annually celebrated during the second Saturday in May.
